Saturday 4/28/2012 *** Growing AMRAP ***

Building AMRAP 20

1 Wall Ball (20#/12#)
1 Burpee
1 Knees-to-Elbows
1 Goblet Squat (55#/35#)
1 Walking Lunge (both sides = 1 Rep)

Add a rep each round to every movement until the 20 minutes has expired.

Upon the completion of the 20 minute workout, sprint 400M.

Choose from either of two classes, 9am or 10am. This weekly workout is designed to give beginners a feel for what they can generally expect from a CrossFit workout. Don’t worry members! While the movements in the workouts will feature some of the simpler CrossFit movements, the workout will still meet the intensity levels CrossFit Denver members have come to expect and crave!

Thursday 4/26/2012 *** The Troy ***

So this workout started out as just an AMRAP we came up with. Then, when we talked about it, we all said “Troy is going to kill this one”. So we decided to name it. Go for it Troy. Props to anyone that beats him!

AMRAP 20
800m run
50 Double unders

Our Classes today are:
WOD: 6am, 10am, Noon, 4pm, 5pm, 6pm
Elements: 7pm

Benchmark Throwdown: 6:30pm

Wednesday 4/25/2012 *** Death by Burpee ***

Split Jerk Technique work, then 3-3-3 (hold 3rd rep for 3 seconds)
Clean the bar from the floor every set

Then,

Death by Burpees (5-15)
11 minute workout.

1st minute = 5 burpees, 2nd minute = 6 BURPEES, 3rd minute = 7 BURPEES, etc. Go until you can’t make the prescribed number in a minute. Then drop back 5 and try to do that number for the rest of the workout. If not, drop back 5 more and try it again.

Your score is how many rounds (minutes) you get before you bust.
